Koko Global Hospitality Launches 20th Hotel in Thailand in Chiang Rai

Bangkok (July 2024) – Koko Global Hospitality, a professional hotel operating firm from Japan, proudly announces the grand opening of its first property in Chiang Rai, Kokotel Chiang Rai Airport Suites. This new addition marks a significant milestone for the company, celebrating its 20th property in Thailand and bringing the total number of operated properties to 21, including one in Japan.

Koko Global Hospitality’s success is rooted in a prominent trend within the global real estate industry: the separation of ownership and operation. Large hotel chains often overlook medium-sized hotels with 50 to 200 rooms, but Koko Global Hospitality addresses this gap by its Centralized Operation model

Centralized Operation for medium-sized hotels

Centralized Operation model enables Koko Global Hospitality to provide full scope management with fewer people and reduced cost. For example, the new 75-room property in Chiang Rai is operated by only 17 on-site staff members. This team includes roles such as Resident Master, Guest Service, Housekeeping, and Engineer. Positions such as Chef, Accounting, Purchasing, IT, Sales & Marketing, and HR are not required on-site as they are centralized at the headquarters. A hotel with a restaurant and similar operations would typically require about twice as many staff members.

This model provides medium-sized hotel owners with a dedicated back office team, and helps them focus on their core competencies, leaving the operational hassle to the professionals.
