Koko Global Hospitality Unveils KokoHub, a Game-Changer for Distribution Operations in Thailand’s Hotel Industry

A New Era of Efficiency and Savings with Centralized Distribution Center

Bangkok, October 2024 – Koko Global Hospitality (KGH), a pioneering hotel management firm and startup in Thailand, founded by Japanese Entrepreneur, has introduced KokoHub, a new centralized distribution center located at KGH’s office in Soi Punnawithi 12, Bangkok.

KokoHub streamlines purchasing and distribution for over 20 management hotels across Thailand, under Kokotel brand as well as several independent properties managed under KGH’s hotel owner partnerships. By consolidating suppliers and operations into one hub, KokoHub offers hotel owners significant cost savings and improved efficiency, all while reflecting KGH’s commitment to continuous improvement through the Japanese “Kaizen” philosophy.

Hotel owners can expect substantial cost savings through KokoHub’s bulk purchasing system, which offers supplier discounts of up to 30% on essential items such as toiletries and stationery. The system also enhances operational efficiency by reducing delivery frequency from daily to twice a week and by centralizing key roles like chefs, accountants, and administrative staff, eliminating the need for these team members to be physically present on-site. Additionally, KokoHub ensures higher quality control through its professional purchasing team, effectively minimizing the risk of errors or misconduct.

Rei Matsuda, CEO of Koko Global Hospitality

“By negotiating with suppliers, we’ve been able to reduce the cost of items such as toilet paper by an additional 10% and in-room amenities up to 30% and reduce our on-site staffing needs significantly. One hotel owner commented, ‘Thanks to KokoHub, we’ve been able to save more and reinvest our savings into marketing or upgrading our amenities. It’s been a game-changer for our business.’” says Rei Matsuda, CEO of Koko Global Hospitality

A recent case study of Kokotel Chiang Rai Airport Suites, where KokoHub was first implemented, shows a 50% reduction in on-site staff requirements. With only 16 on-site employees, this property operates without dedicated roles for accounting, purchasing, IT, or even chefs, as all these functions are now managed remotely by KGH’s headquarters.

The official launch of KokoHub marks the beginning of a new era for KGH’s properties in Thailand. The hub will support properties such as Kokotel Chiang Rai Airport Suites, Kokotel Bangkok Surawong, and Kokotel Pattaya North Beach, with plans to extend its services across all KGH properties by mid-2025.
